This bike's biplane Suzuki is a concept presented at the Tokyo Motor Show. He assumed to be a look into the future, how bikes from 2050 seem. Pretty cool if you ask me.

He has made quite an impression in Tokyo, and I can not really understand why not put into production. It would make quite a splash.

A Large-size Sports Bike with an Automatic Transmission

TOKYO, Japan, October 19, 2005 - At the 39th Tokyo Motor Show 2005, Honda Motor Co., Ltd. today introduced a large-size sports motorcycle concept model, DN-01*, equipped with a continuously variable automatic transmission and a water-cooled, 4-stroke, OHC, V-type, 2-cylinder, 680cc engine. Honda will continue the development of DN-01 with the goal of introducing it to the market in the near future.

DN-01 is being developed in the concept of a comfortable sports cruiser, with the goal of creating new value for the customer by proposing a new level of riding pleasure. The newly adopted hydraulic mechanical continuously variable HFT (Human Fitting Transmission) system features two types of full automatic modes as well as a 6-speed manual mode which the rider operates through buttons located on the handle. Moreover, this is the first hydraulic mechanical continuously variable transmission system in the world to be equipped with a lock-up mechanism, which improves the fuel efficiency while offering a smooth ride without feeling the shock normally associated with gear shifts, even when cornering. With the HFT, the DN-01 achieves more easy-to-operate and comfortable riding than currently available sports model motorcycles.

The 39th Tokyo Motor Show 2005 will open its doors to the general public beginning Saturday, October 22, in Makuhari, Chiba. Honda will present a motorcycle display booth with the theme of “Dream Wings.” The theme represents Honda’s effort to make people-motorcycle relationships more dream-inspiring and to propose a new level of riding pleasure with new values Honda will create.

The Yamaha Tesseract is a hybrid powered vehicle, powered by both a v-twin engine and an electric motor.

The suspension and steering mechanism of the Tesseract is also worth mentioning. Yamaha have equipped the concept with 'dual-scythe' suspension which allows the vehicle to lean like a regular two-wheeled bike. When stationary the extra pair of wheels and a dual arm-lock system keep the Tesseract upright.

Apart from the technology, Yamaha have styled the Tesseract to look rather startling. The semi-open wheel covers, exposed suspension mechanism and linkages, chiseled styling and praying mantis stance combine to give the Tesseract a menacing, almost predatory appearance."

And now for something completely different. Yamaha has just announced it will bring a flock of new models of the motorcycle and scooter to the Motor Show next Tokyo. One of the most interesting concepts, which refer to as rough motorcycle, is the Tesseract. Piaggio has a hit in their hands in the form of MP3, which is able to lean in turns despite the third round. Yamaha has gone up this one-with its Tesseract, although whe added with a more, l which has brought the total to four. But anyone confuse this machine with a car!

Once again the lead of Piaggio following with its hybrid imminent MP3, Yamaha has made this a hybrid concept, boasts a V-Twin engine size without revealing together with an electric motor. Yamaha demand that the machine is almost the same width as a standard motorcycle, mean-lane basis could remain a viable option and the park should not be too difficult. The Tesseract has also been equipped with a mechanism to keep the machine upright when it is stationary or when park is, again, like MP3. In regard to tilling? It is, uh different! Imagine that one half of the processor and you will be transformed from pretty darn close. And what we love!

Dodge introduced its Tomahawk V-10, 8.3 litre (505 cubic inch) concept motor cycle at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit on Monday. The superbike features independent four-wheel suspension, and its engine, borrowed from the Viper sports car, can propel the Tomahawk at speeds of nearly 400 mph, according to Dodge.

Lobster yang dikenal selama ini adalah udang yang berasal dari tangkapan dilaut dan belum bisa dibudidayakan. Udang yang berukuran cukup besar tersebut sengaja ditangkap oleh para nelayan untuk dijual dipasar dalam negeri dan export. Selain lobster air laut, sebenarnya terdapat banyak jenis lobster air tawar yang juga memiliki ukuran dan bentuk tubuh hampir sama dengan lobster air laut.

Lobster air tawar memiliki keunggulan lebih dibandingkan dengan lobster air laut. Sebagai misal, lobster air tawar sudah bisa dibudidayakan, sedangkan lobster air laut belum bisa dibudidayakan. Bila dibandingkan dengan sesama udang air tawar, teknik pembudidayaan lobster air tawar lebih mudah dibandingkan pembudidayaan udang windu dan udang galah.

Lobster air tawar sebenarnya sudahlama dibudidayakan dihabitat aslinya, Queensland, Australia dan perairan Amerika Serikat. Di Indonesia budidaya lobster air tawar baru mulai dirintis pada tahun 1991. Itupun masih terbatas dilakukan oleh beberapa peternak karena adanya kendala keterbatasan jumlah induk yang tersedia di pasaran dalam negeri. Induk induk lobster yang dibudidayakan masih harus didatangkan langsung dari Negara produsennya, Australia.

Seiring dengan semakin berkembangnya teknologi budidaya maka sejak awal tahun 2003 budidaya lobster air tawar semakin berkembang. Ini terlihat dari munculnya perternak yang bisa melakukan pembudidayaan lobster air tawar. Dari satu orang peternak kemudian menyebar ke peternak peternak lainnya. Dari hanya berpusat pada satu kota, kini mudah ditemukan peternak lobster di kota kota besar lainnya. Sejak saat itulah, usaha budidaya lobster air tawar mulai berkembang.
