2010 Audi S4 - Fuel Efficient Performance Car
Let me start off by saying I love the 2010 Audi S4. The vehicle is extremely efficient yet powerful, it is a very capable car. The 3.0 supercharged 6 cylinder engine produces 333 horsepower and 325 lb of torque making it a very quick car. The vehicle comes standard with Quattro all wheel drive. Audi says the car rivals the BMW m3 and the Mercedes c63 AMG however, it is more appropriate to line this car up with more suitable competitors.
Mainly it rivals with BMW's 335i and the Mercedes c350. I know for a fact though, the s4 is significantly faster than both of these cars. Basically the Audi s4 is in a class of its own. Enough Talk about competitors, let's get down to the real business of this amazing vehicle. The interior in my opinion is a flawless design from Audi as usual.
The controls are laid out perfectly, their made simple and idiot proof compared to BMW's infamous "i-drive" system. Let's analyze the s4's handling; it's actually a lot better than the previous models notorious under steer. They've put in a 40/60 split differential, and lowered the ride height about an inch. The result is brilliant handling. You get a lot less under steer compared to the previous model. When you turn into a corner the nose goes in and the tail follows right along seamlessly.
The cars base price is about 50,000 bucks but you get a lot of car for an affordable price. The curb weight is pretty much the same as the previous model, "a little under 4,000 lbs." The fuel economy is 18 city and 27 highway an amazing feat. The conclusion on this car then, it's fast, affordable, and efficient. What more could you ask for in a vehicle?
