Saleen Performance Vehicles has been around since Steve Saleen started modifying Mustangs in the 1980's but, according to reports, that will end after the final production run of the 2011 Saleen S302. The company will instead turn their focus to aftermarket parts.
This is sad because, aside from maybe Caroll Shelby, Steve Saleen is one of the most famous Mustang tuners ever. I guess you could argue that we should have seen this coming after Steve left Saleen in 2007 to start modifying more than just Mustangs as part of his SMS Supercars company.
