Mazda 787B Le Mans Anniversary Lap

Mazda restored the 1991 Le Mans winning 787B race car for a celebration of the 20th anniversary of their historic victory.  Part of that celebration was a demonstration prior to this year's running of the 24hrs of Le Mans.  Luckily, Mazda documented the whole process including the 787B's lap around the track where it made history all those years ago.  In the driver's seat was Johnny Herbert who piloted the car when it crossed the finish line back in 1991, marking the first and only Le Mans victory by a Japanese manufacturer.

Here is the video of the restored car at Le Mans.
