Honda and Mazda Extend Closing Plant

TOKYO (DP) - A week after the earthquake and tsunami measuring 9.0 on the Richter scale which destroyed the North Japan, the automotive industry is not fully normal operations.

Toyota Motor Corporation since, yesterday (17 / 3), new factory operates seven of the 22 factories in Japan. Today, Friday (18 / 3), Honda Motor Company's turn that will only shut down the plant until March 20 will extend until March 23 next.

Honda's automobile factories are Sayama and Suzuka. Similarly, motorcycle plant in Kumamoto.
